You’ll learn how to properly identify genre, how to choose the right publisher to submit your manuscript, and “Manuscript Submissions 101”.
SPEAKER: Ifalada Ta’Shia Asanti is a widely requested columnist, writer, poet, journalist, TV producer and speaker on all things literary and media. Asanti’s work has appeared in Essence, Poets & Writers Magazine, Urban Spectrum Newspaper and in dozens of anthologies, journals and newspapers across the country. Asanti is the recipient of the Audre Lorde Black Quill Award and the Courage in Journalism Award by the International Media Women’s Foundation.
